    In a case of “what were they thinking?” the WA Labor Party’s non-political arm awarded former CFMEU assistant secretary, Joe McDonald, an award for high achievement for his service to the union movement. The track record of the former union official is notorious for all the wrong reasons, including costing millions in union member funds in fines for a lengthy history of unlawful conduct. Being rewarded for bad behaviour is not what responsible unionism is about.

  2. ABCC’s New Commissioner

    The ABCC has a new Commissioner, Mr Steve McBurney. He comes to the role well credentialed and also has umpired over 400 AFL games so has a thick skin. Master Builders welcomes his appointment and looks forward to meeting and working with him.
