Political Summit
Master Builders inaugural Political Summit held in Canberra last week exceeded expectations. The opportunity for Master Builders members and senior staff to hear from 15 politicians and senior bureaucrats on a range of topical political issues was very useful. Inaugural Building Commissioner to Retire
After 47 years in the WA public service, Peter Gow has decided to retire. Peter was instrumental in creating our Building Act and the private certification of building approvals as the first Building Commissioner. Master Builders acknowledges Peter’s contribution to the public service and wishes him well in his retirement.

Master Builders has formed an alliance with Crime Stoppers to reduce theft on building sites. Members are urged to report an incident involving theft or vandalism on any of your sites to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
