Meeting for Bushfire Legislation
The Master Builders Housing Director met earlier this week with Dr Toni Buti MLA regarding bushfire legislation. The government is undertaking a review of the current framework. Industry and member concerns were noted, and Dr Buti was presented with a copy of the Master Builders issues paper, which included a series of recommendations. Feedback was positive, and Master Builders will continue to engage with the government to progress our policy position.

Bushfire Regulations
More and more builders are advising us of their frustrations in building in bushfire zones. Please advise Jason of your case studies which will help us take up your concerns with the regulators. The additional costs and delays are causing much concern.
