Roof Framing – Sheet Metal

This course will provide knowledge and skills to the learners in understanding and ensuring compliance with the roof tie downs.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

This course covers the following concepts and skills related to the roof framing

• Roof Connections
• Tie Downs – Perimeter Walls Tie Down; Internal Walls Tie Down; Roof Fixing Tie Downs

These concepts and practical will assist the learners in ensuring the compliance with the roof tie downs.

The course includes practical demonstration related to the concepts above as well as assessment to

ensure that the learners understand, practice and demonstrates the required components of the

learning such as suitable form of lateral restraints, allowable angles for struts, requirements for tiled

and sheet roofs.  

This course is delivered in partnership with Structerre Consulting.

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded.
