Residential
1kW systems are most common at the moment due to the Federal Government Rebate funding up to a maximum of a 1000 watt (1kW) system.
A lot of customers are installing 2 or 3 kW inverters in their systems however so that they can add additional capacity in the future as power get more expensive and solar panels become cheaper.
Schools
Both the Federal and State Government s have programs to assist schools with the adoption of solar energy.
The Federal Government Program is $50,000 plus GST and the State program is $12 500.
There are significant educational outcomes planned with the deployment of these schemes which will benefit not only the schools with reduced energy billed but a better understanding of energy efficiency.
Commercial
As incentives become viable to business to adopt solar and the nature cost of energy is reflected more and more businesses both large and small will begin to adopt solar energy.
